Limona

Legal and Finance

An AI intake assistant for legal and financial websites

Someone looking for a lawyer or an accountant often wants to know whether your office handles their kind of matter, how a first conversation works and what to bring. Limona answers those administrative questions, asks only what your team needs to route the request, and gives no legal, tax or financial advice.

What visitors ask a legal or financial office

The questions are about the office and its process, not about the visitor’s case.

  • Do you handle this kind of matter?
  • How does a first consultation work?
  • What should I bring to a first meeting?
  • Do you work with individuals, small businesses or both?
  • How do you charge: hourly, flat fee or something else?
  • How quickly will someone from the office contact me?

Limona answers from the practice areas, process and policies you give it. It repeats your words on fees and timing and does not interpret or add to them. Questions about a visitor’s own situation are never answered.

What Limona collects, and what it leaves out

The minimum your office needs to decide the next step. Details of a visitor’s situation belong in a conversation with your staff.

  • The kind of matter or service: chosen from the areas you list, such as an estate plan, a business tax return or a bookkeeping engagement.
  • A short description in the visitor’s words: a sentence or two, enough to route the request.
  • Context your team needs to prepare: for example, whether it is a personal or business matter, and any timing the visitor mentions.
  • Contact details: and how and when the visitor prefers to be reached.

What stays with your team

  • Limona gives no legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and does not say whether someone has a case or qualifies for anything.
  • A chat on your website does not make anyone a client. Your office decides whether it can take a matter.
  • It does not ask for account numbers, identity documents or other sensitive details that your team does not need at this stage.

What a legal intake looks like

A visitor asks a law office about updating a will. Limona answers the administrative question and collects only what the office needs to route the request.

VisitorDo you help people update an existing will?

LimonaMarsh and Wren lists estate planning among its practice areas, including wills. I can’t give legal advice or say what you would need, but I can pass your request to the office. Is this a new will, an update to an existing one, or something else? From the firm’s practice areas

VisitorAn update. I moved to a new state last year.

LimonaThanks, a short description like that is enough for now. The office will ask for anything else. What name and email should they use, and is there a best time to reach you?

VisitorEllis Park, ellis@example.com. Afternoons.

LimonaThanks, Ellis. I’ve sent your request to the office. This chat does not create a client relationship. The office will decide whether it can help and contact you.

Common questions about Limona for Legal & Finance

Does Limona give legal, tax or financial advice?

No, and it will not say whether a visitor has a case, owes a tax or qualifies for anything. It answers administrative questions from your own materials and collects an intake request.

Can a visitor become a client through the chat?

No. Taking on a client is your office’s decision and happens in your own process. The chat only passes along a request.

Can it handle sensitive or confidential details?

It is set up to ask for as little as possible: a matter type, a short description and contact details. A website chat is not the place for confidential case information, and your office should ask for those details in its own process.

What about fees and response times?

It repeats what you have written, such as how you charge or what a consultation involves. It does not promise a response time unless you tell it one and ask it to say so.

Does it work for financial firms as well as law firms?

Yes, for intake and administrative questions: services offered, how engagements start, what to bring. It does not recommend products or investments or comment on anyone’s finances.
