Limona

Rentals and Property

An AI assistant for rental questions and choosing the right items

Renting is a series of small decisions: how many, what size, what goes with it, which dates. Limona helps visitors work through them using the catalog and rules you supply, then hands your team a request with the choices already laid out.

What visitors ask a rental business

Most questions are about quantity, fit and what else they should be thinking about.

  • How many tables and chairs do I need for 60 people?
  • What size tent works for a backyard?
  • Do you deliver to my town, or do I pick up?
  • Does the cabin allow dogs, and how many people does it sleep?
  • What else do people usually add?
  • What do I need to do to request a date?

Limona answers from your catalog: item sizes, capacities, policies and the extras you list. If something is not in what you gave it, it says so.

What Limona collects for a rental request

It helps the visitor choose, then writes the choices down so your team does not have to rebuild them from a string of emails.

  • What it is for: the event, project or trip, in the visitor’s words.
  • The dates they want: recorded as requested dates. They are not reservations.
  • How many, or how big: guest count, number of items, or party size for a stay.
  • The items or property of interest: taken from your catalog, with sizes and capacities as you list them.
  • Relevant extras: add-ons from your list that fit what the visitor described, such as linens with a table rental.
  • Delivery or pickup area: and how to reach the visitor.

What stays with your team

  • Limona works from your catalog, not your live calendar. It does not say that an item or a date is open.
  • Nothing is held or reserved. Your team confirms availability and holds anything.
  • It does not work out totals or quote rates. Pricing is confirmed by your team.

What a rental inquiry looks like

A host planning a backyard party asks what to rent. Limona sizes the request from the catalog and leaves availability to the team.

VisitorI’m hosting a backyard party for about 60 people in June. What do I need for seating and shade?

LimonaLantern Hill’s catalog lists round tables that seat 8, so 60 guests means 8 tables. It also lists a 20 by 40 frame tent and folding chairs. Do you want chairs for everyone, or will some guests stand? From Lantern Hill’s rental catalog

VisitorChairs for everyone. June 14, delivered to Pine Ridge.

LimonaI’ve written that down as a requested date, not a reservation. I can’t see the calendar, so the team will check June 14. Would you like linens for the tables? The catalog lists them as an add-on.

VisitorYes, white linens. Marcus, marcus@example.com.

LimonaThanks, Marcus. Your request is with the Lantern Hill team, who will confirm the date, delivery and pricing.

Common questions about Limona for Rentals & Property

Can Limona tell a visitor whether an item or date is available?

No. It does not see your calendar or inventory. It records the requested dates and items and tells the visitor your team will check.

Will it reserve or hold anything?

No. A request is only a request. Holding an item, a stay or a date happens on your side, in whatever way you already do it.

Where does it get the product information?

From what you give it: item names, sizes, capacities, policies and add-ons. We set that up with you, and it does not invent items that are not in it.

Does it work for vacation rentals and property listings?

It can answer questions about a property from the details you supply, such as sleeping capacity, house rules and check-in policies, and collect the dates and party size a guest wants. It does not quote nightly rates or confirm dates.

Can it recommend what to rent?

It can suggest from your catalog using the sizes and capacities you list. The suggestion is a starting point for your team to confirm, not a guarantee that it will be the right fit.
