Text messages

Limona is a booking assistant operated by Berrada Ventures LLC for local businesses. When a shop uses Limona, texts about your appointments come from that shop's Limona number.

What you'll get

• Booking messages. Replies while you're arranging an appointment, plus confirmations and reminders for appointments you've made.
• Security codes. A six-digit code when you want to see or change an existing appointment, so nobody else can.
• Openings, only if you asked. If you join a shop's waitlist and agree to it, you may get an offer when a slot opens up that suits you. One offer at a time, and only to you.

Signing up

You opt in by texting the shop's number, by ticking the box when you book online, or by telling the shop to add you. The shop keeps a record of it. Appointment texts and waitlist offers are separate, and saying yes to one doesn't sign you up for the other.

How often

It depends on you. Messages come when you're booking, before an appointment, and when a slot you might want opens up. Most people get a handful of messages a month. We don't send anything between 8 PM and 8 AM in your shop's local time.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. You'll get one message confirming it, and nothing after that. To start again, reply START.

To stop only the openings and keep your appointment reminders, just say so in a reply. The assistant understands, and you can always tell the shop directly.

Costs and carriers

We don't charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile provider. Message delivery isn't guaranteed, and mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing. They're used to run the shop's bookings, and nothing else. The full picture is on our privacy page.
