Limona

Terms of service

What you get, what it costs, how the free trial and cancelling work.

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are between Berrada Ventures LLC, PO Box 142, 1475 Canandaigua Rd., Macedon, NY 14502 (“Limona”, “we”) and the business that signs up (“you”). Limona is an AI assistant that you put on your website. It answers visitors’ questions from information you give and approve, asks what your team needs to know, and hands your team the inquiry. It does not book appointments, take payments, check availability or stock, or give legal, financial or medical advice.

Plans and prices

Starter is $49 a month and includes 100 visitor conversations a month. Growth is $99 a month and includes 300. Scale is $149 a month and includes 600. Every plan has the same features. At checkout you are charged the price shown; no sales tax is added. There are no extra packs and no automatic charges for extra conversations.

The free trial

Each account gets one free trial of 30 days, starting when your Stripe checkout succeeds. A card is required to start and is not charged during the trial. After 30 days your card is charged the monthly price of your plan and the plan renews every month until you cancel. We email you about three days before the trial ends with the end date, the amount and how to cancel. Cancelling does not give the trial back: an account that has already used its trial can still subscribe, but the plan starts the same day and your card is charged that day. We tell you which applies before you pay, on our page and on Stripe’s checkout page.

Changing your plan

You can change your plan from your dashboard.

Upgrading. An upgrade starts straight away. Before you confirm, the dashboard shows the exact amount, in US dollars, that will be charged today for the rest of the current billing period. Stripe works it out at that moment; if it changes before you confirm, you are asked to review the new amount. The upgrade starts only after the payment succeeds. If your card is declined you are not charged and your plan does not change, and if your bank asks you to confirm the payment you finish on Stripe’s page. After an upgrade your billing date does not change, the conversations already used this period still count, and from your next renewal you are charged the new plan’s monthly price.

Downgrading. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal. Nothing is charged or refunded when you ask for it, and you keep your current plan’s allowance until then. The dashboard shows the new price and the date, and you can cancel the scheduled change at any time before it takes effect. While a change is scheduled you cannot make another change or cancel your subscription until you cancel the scheduled change.

During the free trial. A change takes effect at once and nothing is charged. Your trial end date does not change, and the new plan’s monthly price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.

You cannot change plans while a payment for a change is pending, while your subscription is set to end, or while a payment has failed.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription in your dashboard, which opens Stripe’s billing portal. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged. If you cancel after the trial, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Questions about a charge: write to us at the address below.

Refunds

Once a paid month has begun, we do not refund it. That includes the prorated charge for an upgrade, a month in which you downgrade or cancel part way through, and a month in which you used few or no conversations. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged, so there is nothing to refund. This does not limit any right you have under the law that cannot be waived.

Conversations and limits

One conversation is one visitor session on your website and counts once, however many questions the visitor asks. Your own private tests and failed replies do not count.

Allowance and reset. Each plan includes a number of conversations for each billing period (Starter 100, Growth 300, Scale 600). The count starts again when your billing period renews, on the same date each month; your dashboard shows how many you have used and that date. The same allowance applies during the free trial, and the count starts again when the trial ends and your first paid period begins.

Alerts. We email your account address once when you reach 80% of the allowance and once when you reach 100%, in each billing period.

At the allowance. Chats already under way can finish. New visitors see a short contact form (name, email and message) instead of the assistant. What they write is saved in your dashboard and emailed to your inquiry address, and the assistant does not reply to it. You are never charged automatically for going over; to take new chats again before the reset, upgrade your plan.

Message limits. A visitor message can be up to 600 characters and a conversation is limited to 40 messages.

Safety limits. To protect against abuse and runaway costs we also apply safety limits that are set above normal use for every plan: each assistant answers at most 600 visitor messages and starts at most 600 chats a day, and one visitor can start at most 30 chats and send at most 200 messages a day. When one of them is reached, visitors see the same contact form. Contact forms are limited too, to stop spam.

Plans are sized for engaged chats, not for all of a site’s traffic.

Payment problems

If a payment fails, your dashboard shows that your subscription needs attention and your assistant stops answering visitors until the payment is fixed. You can update your card from your dashboard.

Your information and your visitors’ information

Your visitors’ inquiries are yours. We store what we need to run the assistant, as described on our privacy page. If you leave, ask and we will export your inquiries and then delete our copies.

The assistant, and what it says

The assistant is AI and can make mistakes. It answers only from the facts you review and approve, and says your team will confirm when it does not know. You are responsible for the accuracy of those facts and for confirming prices, availability and anything legal, financial or medical with the visitor. You test your assistant and approve it before it goes live. Do not use Limona to collect card numbers or passwords from visitors.
